SHIPPING & DELIVERY
In-Store Pickup & Delivery: Once your product has arrived at our store, a member of our staff will call to let you know your order is available to pick up. Occasionally, manufacturer production schedules change and a product will be temporarily out of stock. This can cause delays. We will take all efforts to keep you alerted to any backorder situations. However, backorders from manufactuers are beyond our control. Questions about arrival dates should be directed to your sales person.
Local Delivery: We offer complimentary local delivery for most large orders. Full house orders within 20 miles of our warehouse can be delivered free of charge. Arrangements for delivery should be made with your sales person. Confirmation by our drivers will be made the day before your scheduled delivery with a 2 hour delivery window. At your request, our drivers will call the day of delvery when they are on their way.
Arrangements for the single delivery of oversized or special order items may be made at 417-889-1088. These deliveries may be subject to a delivery fee.
Direct Shipping: For a fee, special orders can be shipped within the contiguous 48 United States. Insurance is not included with shipping. Expedited shipping and/or insurance is available by calling (417) 889-1088. Our shipping costs are based on an item's size and weight, as well as the method of shipment. (UPS or FedEx). Deliveries must be to a physical street address. Items ordered together are not necessarily shipped simultaneously. If an item is backordered, we will notify you by telephone or e-mail with an estimated delivery date.
We are not responsible for stolen or lost packages. All claims must be disputed with the appropriate carrier.
Freight Damage: Please contact our Customer Service Department at 417-889-1088 within 48 hours of receiving a damaged shipment. All damages must be documented to be reviewed by our Customer Service Department. Reasonable shipping charges will be refunded upon inspection and only when damage is deemed to be freight damage. Upon determination of freight damage, a repaired or replacement item will be shipped as soon as possible with no additional charges.
Wrong Item Shipped: Given our priority with customer service, you can bet that we check and double check all items before they are shipped. In the unlikely event that you are accidentally shipped the wrong item, please contact our Customer Service Department at 417-889-1088.
Warranty: The Light House Gallery, Inc. does not provide warranties on the products offered on this website. All lighting products, however, are sold with a manufacturer warranty which warrants that products sold to the first non-dealer purchaser will be free from defects in material and workmanship. The Light House Gallery, Inc. reserves the right to modify its warranty offerings without notice, including the lines being offered with extended warranties. It is your responsibility to keep all documentation needed for warranty claims. This includes your order number, along with invoices and receipts. Our manufacturers' warranties cover all defects in workmanship, assembly, and materials used in the products. Finish fading on outdoor lighting fixtures due to environmental factors are excluded from this offer. Within the guidelines of each manufacturers' warranties, we will repair or replace, at our sole discretion, any products that fail to operate due to a defect. We will not honor any claim for improperly installed fixture(s), glass that has been mishandled/damaged, or for modifications made outside of the manufacturer's warranty. We will not cover the cost of labor for defective or damaged products that have been installed. It is the sole reponsibility of the customer to cover all labor fees and charges.
Finish/Color Disclaimer: Our site displays photographs that have been converted into digital images to represent the products available for purchase. Typically, these images make respresentations of finish colors and glass pieces that may have variations. Many of the products that we carry are hand finished or include hand-blown glass. For this reason, products may have slight variations in finish and texture. For these types of pieces, products may not appear identical to the represented image(s). Likewise, because all computer and phone screens interpret color differently, we cannot guarantee that the fixture you receive will have colors that match what you viewed on your device. RETURN & REPLACEMENT POLICY
We are aware from time to time you may be faced with a purchase that you are not completely satisfied with or perhaps came damaged.
The following items MAY be returned for a refund:
- Merchandise not removed from its original packaging.
- Merchandise that has not been installed.
- Defective merchandise.
Occasionally, returned merchandise is subject to a restocking fee determined by each manufacturer. See our section 'Returns of Non-Stocking Special Order Items' for our full policy on restocking fees.
Exceptions:
- Clearance items will be marked as such, and do not qualify for return.
- Returns can only be made within 30 days of receiving your product(s).
- Exchanges can only be made within 60 days of receiving your product(s).
Returns of Non-Stocking Special Order Items: We process the restock of non-stocking, special ordered, & custom items per our manufacturers specifications. A 35% restock fee will be charged for each returned item upon approval from our manufacturer. All merchandise must be in its original carton, including all packaging materials and accessories. In the event that a manufacturer does require a 35% restock fee, your refund will be processed and issued, minus the restock fee, to your original payment mathod. See our 'Refunds' policy below.
Refunds: Upon inspection and final approval that the returned product is in original, uninstalled, unmodified, re-sellable condition with the original packaging, you will receive a store credit or refund. The Light House Gallery, Inc will issue a credit or refund within 7 days of your approved return. Returns will be issued to the original method of payment. Please note that it may take 4-7 business days for your financial institution to post refunds to your account.
